Draft for review

Community guidelines

For the day the groups open, and for anything sent to this site. Not a lawyer’s document.

The standard

Every colour, every language, one pack. Strong, warm, and honest. Potential, not propaganda.

  • Disagree about the rugby. Don’t go after the person.
  • No harassment, no hate, no slurs, and no piling on.
  • Respect opponents, referees and their supporters. Don’t mock another nation.
  • A hard loss can be talked about. “Disgraceful, worst side ever” is not the tone.
  • Don’t pretend the country is a perfect paradise, and don’t claim the team has healed it.
  • Politics and hardship can be spoken about when they are part of a true story. They are not a licence to target people. A host may close a thread that is doing harm.
  • No unofficial streams, and no asking where to find one.
  • No photos of people who have not agreed, and no photos of children without a parent’s agreement.
  • Don’t post someone else’s phone number, address or private messages.
  • Hosts speak for their own venue. They don’t speak for bokbfok.com, and bokbfok.com doesn’t speak for SA Rugby.

If something goes wrong

In a group, use that group’s tools to report it to the host. For the website, use the contact form. We may remove a listing or refuse a story that breaks these rules. There is no promise of a particular response time. This site is small.

If a forum or comments are added later, the Online Safety Act 2023 may apply, and these guidelines will not be enough on their own. Get advice before that happens.
